25 BEST COMPANIES to Work for in the Netherlands || Working in the Netherlands 2023

The labor market is continuously changing. You have the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the lingering threat of layoffs, the economic uncertainty, and the quiet quitting in the labor force. Job seekers are rethinking their priorities while employers are refining their recruitment policies to attract and retain the best hand. In this video, we’ll dive into the 2023 report of LinkedIn of the best 25 companies to work for in the Netherlands for career growth and advancement. Let’s get into the list. Depending on your industry of interest, I have divided this list into different sectors.

For the manufacturing sector, we have

We go to the software development sector, and here we have

So depending on your interest, these are the different companies that have been ranked by employees and professionals in the Netherlands as being the best companies to work for in 2023, according to LinkedIn, they have ranked these companies based on how employees thrive and grow in their career, both within the organization and also when they leave the organization. And companies that laid off 10% of their workforce within the last one year from the 1st of January, 2022 have been excluded from this ranking. So here you have it. The best 25 companies to work for in the Netherlands, if you’re looking for work and working in a good company is important to you.

These are the companies you should be targeting. So here on LinkedIn’s website, you have it as top 2023 companies in the Netherlands. I will leave a link to this report in the description of this video so that you can access this report and make the most of it. So I’ll quickly take one or two of the companies and we’ll go through and see how you can use it for your job search. So let’s take the first one on the list, ASML. Here you see more. When you click see more, it’ll take you to their LinkedIn page. On their LinkedIn page, you go to jobs. Here you would see vacancies that are currently open for this company. I can see a number of accounting rules here. And if you click show all jobs, you can see all the different rules that are available and you can already start taking inventory of job positions that fall within your field.

 

And of course, be mindful of the job roles that are advertised in the English language. That means that it is looking to attract English speakers as well. But when it is advertised in Dutch, then you know that it’s looking to attract mostly Dutch speakers. So this is the way you can make use of this report. You can see a lot of job openings in their different branches, both here in the Netherlands, in Germany, and here you can identify jobs that fall within your field of expertise and use it to go for your job search. And here you can find a couple of job positions that are currently open and you can give it a shot if any of them fall within your area of interest.

 

We go back to the list, we check one or two other companies. Miro, a software development company. Let’s have a look at Miro. What current jobs are there at the moment? For Miro, there are IT six job openings of course it’s a software development company, and you can see the jobs that are currently open. Engineering manager, senior Java software engineer, strategic finance manager, strategic finance, corporate lead, strategic finance manager, finance manager, strategic finance manager. There are a lot of roles for people in finance, head of global benefits. This will be for people in human resources, global benefits, workplace managers, and head of global benefits. So depending on your area of expertise, you’ll find roles that apply to you. You have head of privacy advisory services consultants and a lot more. So here you really want to take time to go through these companies one by one and go to their website, read more about the company, tell all your job applications and your motivation letter and give it your best shot.

 

You have a chance of landing your dream job with one of these companies. I want to also look at Rabobank to see what they have at the moment. Rabobank has 726 job openings. Of course there will be in different sectors, in different disciplines. And you just have a look and see where it relates to your own area of expertise. And of course, you prepare your CV teller. It’s to the job roles that are advertised and your motivation letter. A lot of the time you’re able to reach out to the recruiter and ask questions if you have questions to ask. And this way you can reach out to these companies. So here we look at rebo Bank and see the jobs they have on their sites. This this, the first one here says, management assistant hoped better talents <inaudible>. Now this job posting is in Dutch, and that means chances are that it is looking to attract Dutch-speaking candidates.

 

That means you would look for other ones that advertise in English language, which means they are opening it up for more people who might not be Dutch speaking here, for instance, risk manager, I F R O SS nine provisions. You can see it is advertised in English language. It means that this job offer is open to those who might not be Dutch speakers. Whereas if we look at the first job opening, it is advertised in the Dutch language signaling that this job offer is looking to attract Dutch-speaking candidates. So this is how you can use this report to help in your job search. There’s nothing like working in a good company where you assure of your career growth and development and good working condition. So LinkedIn has done quite a bit of that work for you. You’ll have 25 companies here that you can research on your own search for jobs that are currently open and go apply for the job that meets your own area of interest and expertise.
